WTB : 1979 Baseball wax

Whats the going price for a single pack, rack pack, cello pack and a grocery rack? I always wanted one of each just to keep for myself as this was the first set of cards I started collecting and buying packs of...so, its sentimental not for investing

Be very careful who you purchase 1979 wax from. We have a resident CU member who decided to sell Box, wrappers, and gum to probable resealers. Buy from reliable even if it costs you a little more.

raw will run you about $30 per wax pack, $50 or more for racks, about $35 for cello.

I would NOT buy raw stuff by the pack. Buy graded.

Wax is going for $30 per pack? I thought it was more like $12-$14.

I am amazed how much 1980 topps baseball wax boxes have gone up too. I believe the 70s wax era ends with 1980 since that was the last year before fleer and donruss got involved in 1981. 1980 wax boxes are selling from 500.00 to 660.00 for a legit box. everything graded in packs was raw at one time. Be well schooled on resealed packs. There have been many discussions on these board before.

Latter is more accurate for a raw pack. I'd say $30 for a graded one in NM 7 range.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
