So whats the skinny on this type of thing. Is this a ebay promotion or somthing. How does one get these options to sell. Is it ebay giving the right to sell coupons and if someone sells over 1,000,000.00 or something they get the cards for x amount like 82% of the face value of the coupons. Because all retail shops know nobody or everybody doesnt use these coupons. There is a percent that will buy them but never use them. So my question is, is this whats going on here? Or something like this. Do any of yall know?
Does buyer protection work after someone leaves a negative feedback? With his feedback it seems like people just odnt care about the money and move along and leave a neg??
max you can buy is 3...i tried to buy 4. imo doesn't matter if it takes 2 weeks or 4 weeks. i buy a ton on ebay, and even if you don't buy alot $150 worth of value for $135 is a deal imo. not to mention you get ebay bucks on that $135 also.
for people not impressed by this would you walk past $1 bill on the street and not pick it up? more power to you if you can afford to do that

No as that requires no investment, effort, or risk.
A better comparison to this Ebay deal would be standing in line for a urinal at a Yankees game and seeing a $1 bill at the bottom of the urinal when it's your turn.

Not quite the same thing...
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
I used to buy and sell tons of gift cards back in the BING Cash Back days. At the peak (30% CB), I would sell $500 Ebay and Best Buy GCs for $600. Buyer was getting 30% cash back, so essentially they were only spending $420 on a $500 GC. I was making a decent profit even after ebay/paypal fees, AND I was buying the GCs from my local grocery store (Giant Eagle) and earning Fuel Perks which was $0.20 off per gallon of gas for every $50 spent. Quick math, with a cap of 30 gallons of gas, that's $60 in free gas every time I bought $500 in gift cards. I went almost 10 months without spending a dime on gas, and I drive a Suburban.

Those are ONLY their negatives, in case you didn't realize.
<< <i>Maybe thats the skinny? Sell them at face but only mail out 86% of the product? >>
I don't know what the deal is, but their feedback would probably be closer to 86% positive if that was the case.

With buyer protection, you think Ebay would let them do that?

I suppose I could save 50 bucks if I bought 10 of them but still....

I hope to one day reach the level of wealth many board member here have apparently achieved, until then, I will take my free $5 and be happy.

<< <i>Maybe its me just me, but buying a gift certificate worth $50 for $45 does not seem that big of a deal. >>
Maybe not, but when they became available yesterday, some people were able to buy 5 with each of their ebay accounts.
