Rookie question: PSA value calculation

Hey guys, I have a quick question regarding a recent submission of mine. I was told that in shipping PSA assessed a "value" of around 10K for my submission. Anyone know how they calculate this and whether their "value" calculation is a reflection of other assessments of value such as VCP (vintage card prices)?

    psa always goes by its own smr.

    It would be a reflection of thier value based on grades
    Collecting PSA... FB,BK,HK,and BB HOF RC sets

    thanks, quite stupid of me actually...they just listed my assessed value which I based on 8s. image
