  • Hello! I don't have any of those, but would like to see your collection! Any pics to post?

Sure, I'll get them scanned and I will post what I have.

I dont have my #7 Burning of the White House here. It's in a box in a PSA 9 oc slab. One day I'll get around to cracking and resubbing. It looks like a strong straight 8 to 8.5. The centering isnt all that bad. Anyway, here is the rest of my set missing the 3 cards...

Thanks. I know I can buy an Arthur on ebay if I want to overpay for it. I might if I find an Adams just to finish it off.
  • Nice collection. What is the size of the cards?

I believe they are the same size as the 56 Topps Baseball. I'll have to check when I get home.

Bump...anyone have a decent Chester Arthur? I really dont want to overpay on ebay. I might have a nice starter set available next week if anyone is interested. Thats what happens when you buy lots to get just one nice card image
  • I have this same set (complete set is 36 cards, right?), but yours are in a little better condition than mine.

Yes, 36 cards. I have bought probably 10-12 lots that look like nice grades on ebay since starting this set. I have upgraded pretty nicely. I'll put up a nice lot for sale soon too if you are interesting in upgrading. In fact, some are from my set cuz I upgraded about 6 from my scans. I'll have to rescan my set when I finish it. This is my only vintage non sports set. I might do the 1952 Topps Look n See next.
  • I have a bunch of the "look n See"s as well. Not a complete set, but close. I am not collecting however, I am selling all of the vintage items I have (I also have the topps Word on Wheels and Topps Rails and Sails, and Topps Ringside...and a few other vintage non-sport partial sets). I do have the "Look n See" Babe Ruth out for grading right now with Becketts...but I don't expect a high grade; it has centering issues, but some of the cards I have from that set are in pretty good condition (no 9s or 10s, but maybe a 7 here or there).

Anyway, good luck with your search for that high grade Chester Arthur!

P.S. yeah, I know, technically boxing is a sport, but not mainstream like baseball, football etc. image
