I got a few in the mail and thought I would share. A different insert set from Press Pass. Hopefully other closet Racing fans will post their recent pickups as well.
2008 Press Pass Garage Graphs Insert Set - For the non NASCAR guys these are the crew chiefs (The guys that make the call on pit stops, gas, # tires etc..)
Chad Knaus
Knaus has 59 victories as Jimmie Johnson's crew chief and is the only NASCAR crew chief to win five consecutive championships
Greg Zipadelli
He is currently the competition director at Stewart-Haas Racing. Zipadelli is most notable for being the crew chief of the #20 The Home Depot car for Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Tony Stewart and Joey Logano from 1999 to 2011. He has won 34 races and two championships in 2002 and 2005 as a crew chief.
Steve Letarte
He is currently employed at Hendrick Motorsports as the crew chief for the No. 88 Diet Mountain Dew/National Guard Chevrolet driven by Dale Earnhardt, Jr.. He first began as crew chief for Jeff Gordon when he took over the job of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet from Robbie Loomis in September 2005.
Tony Eury, Jr.
He is the crew chief for the Swan Racing Company #30 David Stremme, and former crew chief of JR Motorsports #7 Go Daddy Chevrolet Impala driven by Danica Patrick and Kelly Bires in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Eury had been the head of Hendrick Motorsports Research and development group but, previous to that, he served as crew chief for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., his cousin on his mother's side. Eury is the son of veteran crew chief Tony Eury, Sr.

This is the audio book version. I read the paperback and Buz has a great voice so I had to get this one (10 CD's).
This 7 card black bordered set features drivers sponsored by the AC Racing team. The cards were given away as complete sets and included six top drivers and one unnumbered checklist card. The Proven Winners name is included on the back of the checklist card. The cards were distributed as a promotion given out at many of NASCAR speedways.
Beckett Vol. 4 (1999)
The cards are not signed but have a space on the back where they could be signed. I picked this baby up on eBay.
The Earnhardt has been signed on the front and the back.

Here is what the sealed set looks like. They use to go for big money back in the early 90's as you can see from the price tag.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

nice Bobby card by the way !
<< <i>it was pitiful. that team he is/was on is a joke. >>
Agreed!
I didn't realize until I looked at my scan that 3 of the 4 are named Bobby. Weird.
Ray Fox who just turned 97 last month. He has been named as one of the 25 NASCAR HOF Nominees but has not been selected yet.
Raymond Lee Fox, Sr. (5/28/1916) is a retired American engine builder, NASCAR car owner and NASCAR engine inspector. His cars won 14 NASCAR Grand National (now Sprint Cup) events and 16 pole positions.
Mr. Fox is one of the last of the living legends from the early days of NASCAR.

<< <i>Nice andretti card. It seems to me that his cards are very cheap considering how recognizable his name is. His 1969 Panini usually only sells for about 30-50 bucks. I think that's pretty cheap for a rookie card of one of the biggest names in the sport >>
Agreed. I don't really follow 4-wheel racing, either open-wheel or left-turn, but I do know the big names nonetheless. I acquired the Andretti among a near-set of Quelcom I picked up a while back. The regular Panini is in the price range you mention, but the Valida-Back Panini sells for a bit more.
