Am I calculating this melt value correctly?

Because this listing has a starting bid of only $129 and zero bids. According to my calculator the melt value is over $700 … so how come it has zero bids?

Not all S mint Ikes contain silver.
95% of Ike dollars minted contain zero silver.

Your ways seem to me to be without error, you simply made a mistake but your 'ways' prevented it from being an unfortunate financial mistake.

Personally, I make SO many mistakes that I now receive a wholesale rate for same.
Otherwise I'd be entirely bankrupt rather than being merely broke.
