What did you do while the forums were down?

I searched through a couple thousand listings on eBay trying to Cherrypick anything that had a good photo...and good photos were few and far between. It's been a long time since I surfed through eBay! No, I did not find anything.

I took a nap on the beach late this morning too! image

Well, I pulled out my two 44 specials and put on my poncho and sombrero and looked over
some Silver Dollars I have <<<<<<(coin related) image then went outside and yelled yehah yehah
and shot the 44's into the air (where the trajectory would land in a safe area) then got aressted
and was brought before a Judge (kinda wierd being Saturday) where the Judge asked "what do
I have to say for yourself" and I said that "the CU site was down for mainanance" and the Judge
    said "Case Dismissed"

    Well maybe not exactly

So, Stealer, did you win that 1912 Half - ex: Queller ?

It was awful. I went ATS and there was nothing going on there. I expected to at least find some wailing about how this forum was down for maintenance.
  • WhiteTornadoWhiteTornado Posts: 2,102 ✭✭✭
Ordered a new microwave oven, did all the yard work, went running a few miles with my chocolate Lab, and played soccer with my son.

Did we ever determine exactly what "maintenance" was done to this site? EDIT: never mind, I just read DW's post.

Watched a documentary on YouTube. Then I fell asleep. Woke up this morning and had breakfast, opened the shop, bought 20.25 ounces of silver at spot price x .95.
Shortly thereafter, sold a 1975, and 2011 Uncirculated mint set at grey sheet "bid" to another dealer.
A friend stopped by so we went to the casino, where I wasted an hour or two, but found the place where the monthly shows are now held. After leaving there and the Hotel next door (that's where the monthly coin shows moved to), we headed to a place called Mo Fish on the other side of Council Bluffs, off of Interstate 29 North, where I ordered carp and walleye. On the way home saw a venue set up where the Beach Boys are playing in concert. There were thousands of people already gathered.
Got back home and ate the fish which was "take-out", then ended an auction on eBay because there was an item "not as described". Did yesterday's dishes, mopped a floor and took trash out. Made a pot of coffee and logged in here to see what I missed.
Oh I called my daughters to see how they were doing, too. I need to do laundry. Would prefer to hire out some things. Got milk ?
  • When did they go down?

Thought that maybe, just maybe they would fix the "preview" function while down . . . Guess not ! ! ! image
