1969 Topps Nolan Ryan variation?

Just wondering how common the version with the white break in the right border shows up? I see some copies have this break in the black line surrounding the photo just to the right of the circle with Ryan's name in it. There are some on Ebay now but the version without the break seems more prevalent. Any ideas on this variation?

    I WOULD PREFER IT WITHOUT, BUT ITS HARD TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS A PRINT DIFFERENCE BASED ON THIS SMALL SAMPLE
