    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Hi Tim,

    No- I never use a loupe. I think they're a waste of money- and I say this as someone with poor eyesight.

    If someone's grades aren't what they think they should be, the problem is almost certainly because they a) are submitting cards that aren't centered 50/50, and/or b) are not paying enough attention to surface issues (or don't know what to look for in surface issues). Everything one needs to know about the card's corners can be discerned with the naked eye.

    Hi Dave,

    No, this was a different batch. What I picked up in Toronto was a bunch of Gretzky oddball and some 1980 and 1979 OPC commons. Oh- and a Moosehead buzz in the food court!

    I was just having some fun with you, Guy--I knew you don't use a loupe. Congrats on the grades!

    1986 STAR RYAN BASEBALL'S K-KING SITTING-PZL.BK.PERF - Looks like this is going from a pop 0 in 10 to of pop 10! It was the only Pzl. Back that had not yet been graded a 10 in the set. Not bad on the Smiling card too (going from a pop 1 to pop 6)! Were you specifically looking for high grade example of these two cards because you knew they were low pop?
