Guess the Coin Game. #5...solved and OP updated

keyman64keyman64 Posts: 15,533 ✭✭✭✭✭
Okie Dokie. This should be pretty easy, however...this example is much better struck than any of the examples in the books. Just know that and you should be able to name it pretty quick.
PCGS has only graded 3 of these coins and I have a feeling this has a chance at top pop or at least the 2nd finest. This coin sticks out like a sore thumb when well struck.
I am still looking for a better example in case anyone can locate one. image

I will post the full coin image after the coin is named. No hints this time as this one is too easy. image

This is super easy with the right books even if these aren't your thing.

Sooo close. Your keyboard must have gotten stuck on the x key when you needed to type numbers though. Which D/D is it? And what's the date and denomination? image

  • Though mercury's are not my series and have no books on them.
If memory serves me correctly it could be the 1934, but then again my memory has made a fool out of me many many times.
