Help me identify this coin?

I have had this coin for a couple of years and have been wanting to find out when and where it's from. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!!

A common coin thats is heavily faked. Not sure if yours is but I am leaning towards OK.

Attribution of the type is below.

    Histiaia, Euboia 340 - 330 B.C.
    Silver Tetrobol
O: Head of nymph Histiaia right wearing an earring, hair bound in sakkos (sphendone) wreathed with vine
R: Nymph seated upon a stern of galley holding a mast with cross-piece (trophy stand), grapes on vine to left; wing on prow; IΣTIAI-EΩN
    BMC Central Greece p.127, 24-25; Sear 2495

    What bronzemat said.

Not sure of authenticity but it looks OK. Not a super high-dollar coin (think I bought one for $20-ish a few years ago), but hey, ancient Greek silver with a nice design is always nice to have, right? So what if it's not worth a fortune. It's a 2,000+ year old silver coin.

IF it's real. But again, it doesn't raise any obvious red flags to me on that score.

For some rough retail pricing comparisons, here is a VCoins search of listings using "Histiaia, Euboia" as a keyword phrase.

PS- yours is in lower grade than most of the ones shown on that page, but it's way better looking than this $40 example. So apparently I did well when I got one for $18-20 maybe six or seven years ago. Wish I still had it. I didn't collect ancient Greek then, but I do now.
