Pops creeping up

I keep tabs on the current populations of high-grade circulation strike modern issues (Lincoln Cents thru Ike & SBA Dollars) and noticed that some better issues have been increasing over the past 2-3 months after being stagnant for a long time.
My question: Are these coins part of BULK submissions (with minimum grades) or merely individual coins ferreted out of BU rolls, sets, or mint sets?
For example, 1968-D Kennedy 50c was stuck at 13 coins in MS67 for years, now several more have been encapsulated since 1/1/13.
Modern guys, what's your opinion?

Most dealers/collectors don't bother getting post '64 coins graded because usually the grading fees and such isn't worth the return value. I'd image there's many more examples in mint packages and albums throughout the US that are in gem plus grades.
For example, I have a 1968-d aftermarket set with a superbly toned kennedy and the Washington looks like a solid 68, so I'm going to submit these coins. I bought the set for $10 so I'll take the risk

These coin pops were relatively static for quite awhile until recently.

I submitted the 69-D and 70-D MS67 (as well as an MS67 1965) Half Dollar coins, as well as the 73-P Ike in MS66+ (pop 2/0). All fabulous and well deserving coins. In fact, I also graded a 72-D Ike in MS67 and at the suggestion of my ultimate buyer on that particular coin, I sent it over to CAC where it stickered (not common at all for a business strike MS67 Ike by the way). On the other hand, most of my business strike modern coins "did not work yet" in my mind and will be tried again later this year or next year . For example, I personally graded a 1986-P Kennedy Half Dollar MS68 and it came back as the pop 1/1 MS67+ last week. Ditto for a 1992-P Kennedy in MS67+. I had a 1976-S Kennedy Half Dollar I graded SOLID MS69 that came back MS68 and ditto for a 1976-S Ike Dollar. I was shooting for an MS68RD on an amazing 1972-P Lincoln Cent I have had for about a decade or two and it just graded MS67+RD (pop 1/0). I also graded a pop 2/3 MS66+ 1976-D Ty 1 Ike that I grade MS67. And, the list goes on and on. These coins were uncovered by me over the past 30 years ... many through intense coin searches. Virtually every coin is not for sale. Just tossing them in my modern registry sets for now (only exception thus far was that 72-D Ike MS67 CAC I let go under special circumstances).
I am not speaking for a few other situations (like the 68-D half dollars and quarters that you mentioned that I had nothing to do with), but a number of the coins on your list Cupronik are absolute beauties that were in my bank vault for years or decades. I hope to get many of these True-viewed later this year.

I'm guessing that most of these are getting submitted on the basis of market strenght. Where there
is demand there will be more effort to satisfy it. But these coins will never be "coming out of the wood-
work" because there is a highly limited number that have been saved over the years. There just aren't
many individuals who have been setting them aside and finding them is so tough that no one could set
aside quantities.
It will be interesting to see the pops as the demand ratchets higher. Eventually even low grade coins of
some dates will be worth the cost of submitting.
Seriously, do you think 10 more have been located? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
With the plus grading and everyone eager to "maximize their value" the reverse has happened in some cases. People cracked everything out and resubmitted over and over again. When pops go from 40 to 50, I doubt these are all new found examples or 10 67FB examples crossed from other grading services. I wonder how many PCGS 67FB examples really exist...is it 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50? Maybe by next year there will be 60 or 70? Maybe within 10 years there will be an extra roll of them found?
Awwwww, shucks, I'm probably wrong.
