SOLD - Fugio - PCGS VF25 CAC - Rare Variety & Perfect Color

SOLD
1787 Fugio - STATES UNI, 4 Cinq
PCGS VF25 CAC
I am desiring to further build my basic U.S. type set and have decided to sell my beloved Fugio copper after 5 years of ownership (acquired from Shawn Yancey). I assert that this coin is special because of its ideal milk chocolate color and superb planchet quality as compared to so many that one sees that are pitted, corroded, stained, etc. (that said, there is a very faint obverse scratch running from the G in FUGIO that ends underneath the sun's 6:00 rays. This is greatly magnified with the large pics and insignificant when seen in hand). The color shown in the large pics is accurate.
The variety is 16-N, die state C and thus you will see the interesting reverse die crack intersecting the rings. In Bowers Colonial and Early American Coins, he states that the 16-N is: "Rare. Usually seen in lower grades. Planchet quality varies. Rarity: URS-7" (33-64). "VF-20 $2000"
(price deleted). Personal check accepted if you are known, otherwise USPS, bank money order or cashier's check. Checks must clear before shipment. No Paypal (I don't have an account). I've had good experiences selling on the BST and expect that good and prompt communication will occur by both parties.

<< <i>Which is sexier - my Fugio or Cheryl? Tough choice, I know. >>
Guess we'll have to wait until Cheryl is also 226 years old
Well, if my lovely Fugio has no takers here, I will happily return it to my collection.
