Just started my very first registry

I've been thinking about starting a BGS Michael Jordan player registry for a while now and finally created one. I don't have very many cards in my registry but am already eager to add more and increase my rank. I never understood all the hype about player and set registries but now I see the way, as it brings out the competitive nature (as silly as it may sound), but I don't plan on trying to reach the top spot. It would take too much money, and besides, I don't even like most of the cards in the registry.
Last time I checked (which is about every half hour) I was ranked 70th.
