Would you get this graded?

I assume it grades a PSA 1 or 1.5, but I think to authenticate it I might get it graded for resale.

If I was in the market for this card, I would pay more for it slabbed. Even if only authentic. Mantle
is too popular to buy raw. People try to counterfeit his stuff way to often IMO.

Get graded. White letters have good value, even amongst the "value concious" collectors, that can't afford high grade examples. You will do fine.

I am on the fence here. A PSA 1 sells for about $150, I am thinking that may be the top grade this will get with the chunk taken out of Mickey's arm. At $150, the fees and shipping both ways may eat up any profit you are looking at, unless of course it is part of a bigger sub, then I say, why not, there can only be upside if the costs are spread around some more.

White letter Mantle = Get graded.

I wish I still had my 1969 White letter Mantle. It would have graded a 6 I think. Oh well, sometimes you sell too soon.............................................and then sometimes you sell at just the right time like some raw 1985 McGwires that would have graded no higher than a 7 for $75.00 and some 8's at $125.00...........
