Anyone know how much unopened Orel Hersheiser has ?

I think he is well known as a wax collector.

I remember about 8 years ago he was rumored to have purchased over 100k worth of unopened 50's and 60's Parkhurst and Topps Hockey wax boxes.

Anyone know anything ?

I missed out on a local guy who sold several boxes 50/60's Parkhurst wax, a partial box of 1924 Paulin's candy and three boxes of 71 wax plus a smattering of other years to a dealer in New York. I haven't heard of it surfacing though and he wouldn't divulge the name of the buyer. Sure wish I had showed up on his doorstep three weeks earlier.

never knew anything about Orel being a collector. If ya got the $$ you can do a lot. But as we all know unopened is tuff tuff tuff
