1964-D Kennedy Half DDO... but which one?

BustHalfBrianBustHalfBrian Posts: 4,192 ✭✭✭✭
Hi all, just looking for some info on this DDO.

Is this a "major variety" or a "minor variety"? Does it have it's own FS number?

Also, what's it worth as it sits (uncertified), and would it be in my best interest to have it certified?

Any other info offered is greatly appreciated, thanks image

Without see the coin in hand, I would be leaning towards CONECA DDO-011 image

    Maybe DDO-013?

Do you have pics of the DDO-011 for comparison? image Thanks for the help.

The 1964-D DDO-013 is going to have nice doubling on "IN GOD", "LIBERTY", Kennedy's chin and eye. I just don't see all of these things from your picture.

Where as the DDO-011 has a spread on "BER" of LIBERTY and the hair under the "R".

Niether one of these varieties are listed in the Cherrypickers' Guide, unless you feel the coin would grade MS65 or better it is probably not worth the grading fees to make it cost effective.

    Just my two cents worth,
    Caleb
