EOT vs. Authentic

Hey everyone,

If I received a card back as evidence of trimming, could I resubmit it and ask for it to be graded as authentic?

Also, if a card comes back as miscut, could I ask for it to get slabbed authentic on a resubmit?

I vote resub again and see if it is eventually graded. If it keeps coming back EOT, minsize, or miscut, then my personal preference is to have it graded by SGC rather than just authentic by PSA. I've got some SGC 8's & 9's that were rejected by PSA for minsize or miscut, and I also have some PSA 8's & 9's that were rejected by PSA on first sub but eventually graded by them on resub, though probably by a different specific grader there in all likelihood.

I completely agree.

If you can't get them to grade and you still want them in a PSA holder, you should be able to get them holdered "authentic-trimmed" or something like that.

I needed a card holdered for my Master set and was originally told by PSA they wouldn't holder it, but after some complaining, I was able to get them to do it.

I submitted a '65 Clemente twice and both times it came back Miscut. I'd love to just get it slabbed.
Would PSA slab it authentic if I asked on the form? or even give it a Miscut grade?
I just don't understand how some cards come back slabbed with a Miscut grade and others do not.

You should be able to get the Clemente slabbed "Authentic-Miscut"

You might need to call PSA ahead of time to see if they will agree.
