Anybody ever send old BGS cards in for a BVG review?

Since BVG was established to treat vintage cards differently than more modern cards, the idea was that the first generation of BGS stuff may have been graded more harshly than had BVG been around. Has anybody ever sent them in for a review under this scenario? Is my assumption sound?

I typically crack and sub, and bought an old BGS card with this idea - but am not 100% sure that the card is cut properly. Not a huge money card, but a $100-$200 card.

Mike, I wouldnt go there. Just my two cents. My opinion is based upon my experience. I've personally had far greater luck crossing BGS vs crossing BVG. Bobby
