$$$$$ KOOL KARDS $$$$$

I noticed the unopened thread MuggyMan created is gone. I think I know why, so we need a new thread where we can get back to the reason we all come to this website. . to see cool cards. There are some amazing items you all have; repost them, post new stuff, old or new, let's use this thread to show some great unopened/opened/graded/ungraded stuff! Hopefully this thread takes off, if not, I'm sure another thread will get going soon. Also, just because you're proud of a current card that might not be worth a ton doesn't mean it should not be posted. I get a ton of ideas from this website for new investing/collecting ideas.

I'll start with one of my favs. . .sorry the picture sucks. If anyone has a good scanner idea, let me know.

I agree, I love seeing pictures of people's cards. And hopefully one day I'll be able to post pics of my cards.

Why did muggymans thread get deleted?

That Muggyman Thread was unreal and to be honest I am really angry it got "poofed". I don't really get into all the mud flinging just because I am not that educated yet to make and comments in the matters, but that thread was to awesome to get rid of. Seriously!!!!!!! Threads like that are the reason most of us find the forums. I think there was an amazing '75 Topps Baseball thread that was the same. I know that for me, that thread and all of the amazing stories and pics guided me back into collecting and subing to PSA in general. I really don't get it. We are adults and "poofing" threads like that is not cool.

I'm with you. The unopened packs with stars on top and 1975 Topps mini threads were epic threads and great reference material. It's disappointing the mods didn't purge the offending posts instead of nuking the entire threads. image

Don't want to derail Kurt's thread, but I was disappointed that Muggy's thread got poofed too. Lots of great memories were in that thread.

Now I know why I can't find any 1975 racks with Brett on top and I'm not talking Ken either. image

In keeping with the spirit of this thread, here is my first contribution.

Great idea for a new thread, Kurt. We had to do the same over on the registry forum for 75 minis, too.

Here's my first contribution: this pack was straight from a full box of 2nd series 73 cellos. I bought about 8-10 packs from this particular box, most with commons showing, but this one was my favorite:

Never bought any vintage packs (yet) but was able to keep these unopened from a flea market lot last summer. Think I paid about 35 cents a pack. Opened a ton but kept these unopened:

Man, these are awesome contributions. . I like the 1984 Topps racks. Those bring back a ton of memories for me. I bought a 1984 Topps rack box recently, but didn't get much for star power. I'd like to get a 1983 rack box, but it's so dry out there right now.

'72 is my favorite year for racks from the '70s. Here's a series 1/2 rack with Mays on back:

I just sold this pack which had Gary Carter on the back, but recently picked this one minus Gary Carter
