HELP!! Why did this card get a PD qualifer? Experts only!

Hello all...just got this card back from PSA and it got the (PD) qualifier. Not really sure why?

Does Carol still work at PSA?? Haven't heard from her lately.....can I still call her up and ask her to review this one? Here is a scan of the back....

Anyway, thanks for helping me out....experts only please reply.....

I think there might be some food on his teeth and they got confused and thought it was a printing problem. That is my expert opinion

Wow. I can't believe they even gave that a number grade. It's sort of like sending in a card missing the foil process. Clearly a step was definitely messed up.

I can see a collector of miscuts and oddity cards paying big money for this one.....

I suspect PD was the only qualifier they had that could describe the back. It couldn't be unqualified, so PD would cover wet transfer, ghost printing, etc.

I know Griffins...I was just making a joke....I have never seen the back of a 1952 Topps card quite like that one....
