This is the incoming numis bullion. I assure the grades and pull anything that doesnt make it or is cleaned. A bit of pressure on me with all this money on my desk. Stackers dream?

I think this might be a proof, have to do some research on this one.

  • You think a 79-S is a proof? Good luck on that one. A very impressive stash I must say.

You look overweight here, you need to sell some. image

  • Currently sitting on your desk and a very recent $34 drop as of now. Hopefully you had locked in a sell before you bought.

Wow, that is pretty damned cool. Must be a lot of fun, and probably some wishing that giant pile of gold coins belonged to you.

As far as the suspected proof, it's almost certainly a business strike, yes? Was probably prooflike when new.
Think of an 1879S Morgan dollar. They polished the dies, and maybe some of the planchets too, those early years ( trying to turn out impressive Premium bullion maybe?)

    Looks like lots of fun.

    Is someone unstacking?

Buying for customers who've prepaid. I think this is being split up 4 or 5 ways.

Clearly! for every buyer there is a seller.

or sometimes a seller is a "flipper-stacker" who buys, somehow adds "premium" (breaking up large wholesale lots down to retail size, getting items graded, getting stickers on them, adding a "story" to them, , etc or even melting it and making the bullion a different shape)

and then sells, and stacks more for themselves with the profits

    pretty clever
