Great set (and do not get me wrong, I am TOTALLY jealous), but the only reason it is #1 is because "Honeycutt" has not moved his over and he/she has not updated he set with 2000 and 2001 coins.
Of the 40 coins (they are in her 1950- set) in the 1959- set, he has 34 that are finest knowns, 2 that are missing (and the finest knowns are $25 coins), and 4 that are one off finest knowns (and 2 of them only have 1 better).
So if "honeycutt" were to spend $50, the set would have a rank of 69.88.
Thanks for noticing! I don't expect a lengthy stay. I finally took the time to post the best part of the 1950-present set and didn't expect it to post for a few days. I've admired the Honeycutt set for quite a while. I expect the Troy set will pass me within a short time, if somebody else doesn't post another new set. I expect to upgrade the 1971 when my next submission comes back. That 1970 LD in DCAM is proving elusive. I've been trying to make that one for 3 submissions, without success.
Ouch, Congrats on the number one set. Some daye If I can find a nice 71SDCAM I may share the lead (or borrow it) for a while. Honeycut does have one impressive set, Its just a matter of time.
and i will attempt to hold everyone else up from the bottom of the pile....wow..I thought the modern Washington quarter set was going to be tough to assemble........gasping on the Lincolns!!!
