Anyone Have Experience Submitting 80's Stickers?

I recently picked up some early 80's O-Pee-Chee Sticker Boxes. I just finished opening an '85. I was curious if anyone has had experience subbing these? Is there anything different to look for in regards to condition compared to cards? I've noticed on some that you can see the outline of the sticker on the back. It's almost like a surface line in some cases and not always a complete outline of the sticker. I assume that would knock the grade down? Maybe it's taken into account such as the rough cut of early O-Pee-Chee cards? Anyone have any tips or info to share? I appreciate it!

Thanks
Craig

I've submitted several, nothing much different to look at. Just becareful since they are much easier to have a bend or impression on it.

If you get a Puckett in PSA 9 or 10, holler.

I also recently broke open a box of 1985 OPC. I subbed this Ryno with success. The FOIL All Star cards are very challenging. Most of mine were OC.

You're going to get a lot more 5s and 6s than you expected.

    jbox - Will do.

    RynoandBo - Beautiful! Nice eye!

CDsNuts - Due to being so thin and condition sensitive I assume?

    Thanks

Eh, not really. It's more like PSA being overly sensitive to the slightest flaws. More surface stuff than anything else; you'll see the lightest thumbnail or bump in the surface and they automatically 5 or 6 it. Also the diamond cuts are a pain. I've never done overwhelmingly well with a sticker sub but you definitely get bang for your buck out of the boxes since there are 100 packs.

    Here is another:

Stickers were a huge part of my childhood. Grandma would give me 2 bucks to get her Sunday paper which was a dollar at the time. The other dollar was for 4 Topps Sticker Packs. I never got that Ryno FOIL all-star in 1985, I always seemed to get the damn Lou Whitaker.

    Good Topic!
