Why oh why do they keep making these. I always thought that it was for fear of Edward M Kennedy but that would not be an issue any more.

What if they made them in 90% and limited to 100,000 each?

    Next year is 50 years.......

Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.

Do a 50th anniv. high relief in silver and close out the series.

Some nuts like me buy some every year. There still is a demand, not strong, but a demand.

There's gotta be at least 1,000 collectors right? All kidding aside, has anyone ever seen the print run numbers for Dansco, are these disclosed? I'd like to know how many modern half albums are sold.

I have a Dansco, and will need 1 of each. Should put a dent in the demand.

Is there anyone collecting on here that remembers the Kennedy assasination?

Vividly and can still remember I was walking to the chow hall when I heard the news during advanced basic training at Lowery AFB.

His "Ask Not" speech was a big part of why I was there at that time.

I gave up on this series and silver eagles about 2 years ago, $$ better spent elsewhere. I am keeping my washies, jeffs, roosies and lincolns though, but they are only complete through the early 2000s.

Only from history books, movies and the occasional special on History Channel, Discovery Channel, or the like.

Oh, and from listening to my pops rant on and on about (Budweiser induced) conspiracy theories...he still thinks there was a gunman on the grassy knoll! lol And the man was a Detective as a state trooper, yet sounds like a nutcake talking about this particular subject. He still has every paper from the area with the headlines, still INSISTS "they'll be worth money someday, you watch", in his matter-of-fact voice, while I'm trying to tell him they are worth more as a replacement for Charmin...lol MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE! lol
    I'll come up with something.

I remember it well. It also led to the legalization of possesion of pre-1934 gold certificates.

All schools were closed the next day. The only thing on all 3 channels was about the assasination.

What I did see was the assasination of Oswald on TV
