Pack Poppage - Hockey, Baseball, Wrestling Hogan Rookie! (PICS ADDED)

Looks like we had a bunch of packs pop across the board yesterday. Mine were submitted in early March so turn around seemed quicker than usual.

These were all raw submissions from random ebay purchases. Pretty stoked about the grades overall.

Yzerman rookie is a POP 3

Many 78 Murray variations exist but first with a Rose back. 9 is great as I thought much lower.

The OPC Wrestling packs are all POP 1, make that the first and only 3 packs submitted so that will change with time. The Hogan rookie I’m shocked got an 8 as the back seal was really rough. The Macho rookie was cool as purchased raw from Hawaii and came in a bubble mailer and somehow survived.

On the downside the two altered stocks hurt a bit considering both were purchased from forum members, thanks guys! The Bonds no big deal and was kind of suspected but would have made a nice twin to my PSA 9 top/bottom 87 Topps cello. The Montana looked pristine and showed no signs of issue and was claimed to be from a BBCE group rip, I’ll have another look and worst case see break and see what shape the Montana is in.

Overall pretty cool poppage. Up next an 84 Donruss wax pack with Mattingly on back and a few 64 Topps packs from Heritage redemptions and other goodies, wish me luck!

    I didn't even know OPC made hockey racks and cello's!

    Nice pop, would love to have all those cards in my collection.

    Thanks and yes took me a while to figure that out as well. 82-83 OPC made racks which had individuals cellos inside like a grocery cello. If you break a rack, PSA will grade the individual cellos.

    The POP report is a bit messy for these as they originally listed them as cellos and now show as grocery cellos.

    Post some scans when you get them back.

    I saw that Macho Man pack sell on EBAY and thought it was a super cool item.

    Nice to see you send some WWF packs in to get slabbed.

    Thought you would like them Dpeck. Those OPC will do until I finally grab a unopened cello of the 82 Wrestling Stars set. Been close a few times!

    It is still sealed.

    Do you know if PSA will grade one of these?

    That was a decent price if I recall 950ish? It's worth a shot to grade through PSA, not sure if they will.

    Exactly and thanks for pic! And so many have that edge damage from packaging as yours show. My Fuhr had that but luckly he is on the back, hence the PSA 7 grade.

    I got it for $899.

    I plan to keep it and I also would like to find a sealed set of the other two for my collection. I have busted everyone I have purchased up to this point.

    Finding an 82B set is extremely tough and by far the most rare sealed.

    Great idea to get some wrestling packs slabbed, those could be one of the few that have been slabbed and great choices!

    Yes I have to admit you guys got me hooked on wrestling again! The OPC packs are the only three graded to date, that will change in time
