Close call for Ebay shipping at post office

I came very close to having an issue I never would have been able to solve.
I sold a modern card on ebay. I packed it up as follows - penny sleeve, top loader placed in a team bag with 2 decoys (one on each side.) in a bubble mailer. I printed the paypal shipping label with tracking and brought it along with a few other items to the post office. I drop it into that box thing that you flip over to put it into the mailbox. Like a fool, I always look back in the letter/box receptacal after i flip it over. What do i find? Somehow the bubble mailer had slipped into a crack and wedged into the slot where the metal comes together! I tried to pull it out but was perfectly stuck!!! I managed to rip the envelope and pull out the card, however I never actually could get the entire envelope out of the crack! there are still some bubble and paper in there.
Moral to the story...pack your cards well and always double check the box! A $99 claim was avioided.
