    Great pictures!
Looking to buy/trade for any Holman Moody (NASCAR) related items you may have.
  • That was a great race. Those Gen 6 cars are really making this season interesting. I don't think there has been a boring race yet this year. Went to Talladega in April of 2002 and was blown away by the size of the track. I remember standing where your pic 1 was taken and watching the cars fly by. I think everybody should go to Dega once just to experience the speed of those cars. Just think how awesome racing would be at Daytona and Dega if Nascar did away with the restrictor plate. Those cars would probably top out at 220 or 230 mph.

Great pics and I hope you enjoy it.

Been collecting on and off from 1982. Football is my favorite, although, I do like baseball. Always looking for 1984 Topps and 1989 Score Football PSA 10's.

Dega without restrictor plates would have crashes where cars went General Lee. No way would I sit within the bottom 30 rows.
Imagine adding 40 mph to Edwards' crash into the fence a few years ago.

Logan, I love Dega, been many times. It will always be special to me as I brought my dad there a few years ago to see a race and get an insiders NASCAR experience. Doesn't sound like much, but my dad is kind of a home body, so getting to do something like that with him is very memorable.

Rusty Wallace tested the last generation car at Dega probably six years ago, and was running laps by himself without a restricted plate of 230-232. You will never see a super speedway race that does not involve some sort of speed choking device. These guys would kill themselves otherwise.

My wife got me a ride along in one of the race cars at their driving school for Father's Day last year and it was incredible! Highly recommend it to anyone and would someday like to go back and do the full day where you actually drive yourself.
