I had 2 in one game at Tiger Stadium in 1984 the first one bounced off my left hand and the guy in front of me ended up with the ball. The second one 3 innings later hit a post and fell into my lap. 1 for 2 ain't bad.
My only foul ball was about 30 years ago and hit by Buddy Bell. It's a moment I'll never forget and a memento I'll never sell. Congrats Echo!
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
Almost got an Ichiro foul ball at Miller Park about 6 years back. It went through some kids hands in front of us into the row behind me...I woulda had it but I put down my beer so it wouldn't spill and missed snatching it up by about a second. While it woulda been great to get a ball (still haven't got one), I think I made the right choice
Grabbed 3 at a Lowell Spinners Single A game last year. Almost had a 4th, but it was hit too hard to get my fat a** off the seat in time. They were just grounders, down behind the 1st base coach. Section 102 comes out behind 1st like it does in Fenway behind 3rd. You have to be paying attention to the game there as some screaming liners are hit there. In fact one of the seats in our row had to be replaced last year, the seat back had a hole the same size as a baseball, hmmmmm.........
My kid has more balls and pucks here than he knows what to do with, in fact this year he has started to share the wealth at the hockey games, giving his to younger kids who seem to be there for the 1st time. We sit next to the ref's entrance so he gets a couple almost every game.
Way cool! I've gotten 2. One Arod tossed to my son who was 4 at the time two rows back at Yankee stadium. Second was at Randy Johnson's 300th win game in Washington. I made the Giants broadcast in that one! I didn't want to drop the camera so tried to one hand it and it dropped and I picked it up. It's amazing the thrill that is no matter how young or old. Congrats!

What a rush!!! Back in 1999 at Candlestick Park, I brought my nephew to his first game. We had good lower box tickets but we arrived early to see batting practice so I had an idea to go up to the upper deck to watch. Trevor Hoffman was in the outfield playing catch and shagging balls. So, as nobody was within ten sections of us, I yelled to him "Hey noodle arm,you couldn't even make it up here!!!". My nephew was taken aback at my screaming as were a few ushers who were heading our way. Hoffman had called a few players over and they congregated in a circle for a couple of seconds then they broke and all fired balls up to the upper deck where we were!! Balls smacked the empty seats and went careening all over the place!! Kids saw this and sprinted up to where we were but they were late as were the ushers. My nephew and I picked up seven baseballs! He still says that was the best game he ever went to!

The only ball I got was a Von Hayes bottom of the ninth game winning home run. Now that was cool. I was just about the only person in the left field area one afternoon when the ball was hit. WHAM! It landed two rows in front and two seats to the right of me. I casually walked over and picked it up. Naturally I raised it in the air to show the fans that I have the ball and to get on TV. I tried to get it autographed after the game but was unsuccessful. Bob

I was at the Eighth Wonder of the World (circa '97) and Pedro Martinez uncorked a Nuke LaLoosh during pregame warm-ups. Seeing as he was evolving into the baddest 170-lb man on the planet at the time, it had a home run ball type feel to it. Got him to sign it a few years later........right next to the ginormous bruise.
My only ball caught was before the game started. It was 1983 in Arlington and Reggie Jackson was throwing a ball back to the plate and overthrew the catcher and it bounced to me in the stands. I took the ball and went over to the Angels dugout and saw Rod Carew. I handed him a Cross pen that I had in my pocket with the ball and he went into the dugout and disappeared. After a couple of minutes, I thought I had lost the ball and my expensive pen. Suddenly, Fred Lynn appears and Rod Carew points me out. Fred Lynn walks over with the ball and the pen. I look down and the ball is signed by both. And I still have it to this day.
