auctions went from 9% of closing to 10%. 50 freebies instead of former 100 and listings 30 cents instead of 10 cents. of course, all dressed up as a benefit to sellers. this is monopoly business at its worst. i wouldn't stay another hour if there was a legitimate alternative.

You forgot to mention that it is damn near impossible to attract international buyers with the shipping price hikes, and the system that ebay implemented to solve the aforementioned problem (international shipping in general) actually made it worse...sigh
