I have a small assortment of coins listed below. Shipping and insurance are paid for by me and all items may be returned within a one week (7-day) period for complete refund. Payment accepted by personal, bank or business check or money order, USPS money order and PayPal options. I prefer to avoid the use of PayPal with the fees that are associated with this option, but if it is required please let me know. Any questions may be asked within the thread or sent to me via PM or to my email address of tbush@tbnumismatics.com. Thank you for your time.

Additionally, at this time I am also offering an advanced notice email option whereby you may receive descriptions and prices of all new purchases after each major show or, in the event that a larger purchase is made between shows, as soon as I have a nice group of coins. Simply send me a PM with your email address or send an email requesting to be placed on the advanced notice list. I will not hammer you with emails or a sales pitch; only the occasional update to my site. Lastly, if you would like to read more frequent updates as to my business, you may want to follow or "like" me on Facebook.

All coins listed on my website now have direct links under them with their certification number, which allows access to the NGC, PCGS and/or CAC database, as applicable. This has been instituted to better allow my clients to research auction history of a particular coin, confirm certification status, view possible alternative images and ascertain an accurate market price.

1) 1912-S Liberty Nickel PCGS F15

image

The year 1912 witnessed the only branch mint production of coins for the Liberty nickel series. Typically, these S-mint coins are struck softly with poor details in the MS grades and poorly shaped mintmarks. This coin has minimal wear for the grade, a good looking mintmark and nice color. $295.00

2) 1900 Barber Dime PCGS MS66/CAC

image

Here is a coin with simply glorious skin and great color over completely original surafaces. If all Barber dimes were as attractive as this coin then the Barber dime series would be mighty popular. This coin is a boatload more attractive than the typical mottled coin or a dipped white piece. $2,450.00

3) 1839 Seated Liberty Quarter ND PCGS EF40

image

An auburn and grey mix completely dominates the surfaces of this coin. Additionally, a die crack bisecting the reverse gives added visual appeal. This is a great subtype. SOLD

4) 1847-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS VF30

image

The 1847-O is a much tougher issue to find with any remaining meat and in any state of surface preservation that will allow it to be certified as problem-free. The color is a medium straw and the coin shows the often found weakness of strike on the lower half of the reverse. $895.00

5) 1850 Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS EF40

image

This is actually a very dark coin with a deep auburn obverse paired with a similar reverse that also retains a vibrant shade of navy blue. These no motto quarters are more difficult to find than one may expect. SOLD

6) 1850-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS EF40

image

This coin looks great and has significant detail remaining, but is that a strikethrough over the 0 in the date or simply retained crud? I think it is retained crud, though others have thought it a strikethrough. Regardless, the coin is cool. SOLD

7) 1854-O Seated Liberty Quarter w/Arrows PCGS VF20

image

While not the Huge O, this is still a scarce die pair and commands a premium as such. This might also be what many folks call a “circ cam” given its wear, dirt and cameo like appearance. $365.00

8) 1857-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS VF30

image

This is simply a completely lovely coin. It is a much easier date to obtain than many other no motto Seated quarters, but the surfaces, color and overall look are so pretty than one might stare at this piece over and over again. This would be a great coin for a type set or Dansco 7070 album. ON HOLD

9) 1858-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS VF25

image

Not quite the same look as the 1857-O preceding it, but this 1858-O has terrific charm and wonderful eye appeal. Similarly, it is a relatively easier date to obtain and makes a wonderful selection for type. $155.00

10) 1898-O Barber Quarter PCGS MS62

image

The 1898-O is one of the toughest issues in the entire Barber quarter series. This coin features what I would call natural secondary toning. In my opinion, this piece was likely dipped white sometime in the past and allowed to tone naturally in a Whitman or Dansco album. The result is a vivid blend of blue and orange over frosty white surfaces. $1,625.00

11) 1909-O Barber Quarter PCGS VG10/CAC

image

In G4 or AG3 the 1909-O Barber quarter is like a weed; that is, they are everywhere. Above VG8 these coins become progressively scarcer. This one is exceptionally nice for the grade. $335.00

12) 1898-O Barber Half Dollar PCGS MS65/CAC

image

Here is one of the real bears in the Barber half dollar series. This issue is plagued with strike deficiencies, but the present coin has a decent obverse strike with weakness on only a few stars and around the lips. The reverse has the typical weak upper right portion to the shield extending down to the tail feathers and tallons on the right side. This piece has an attractive skin with some medium navy toning peaking out around predominantly auburn color. $7,950.00

13) 1848 Seated Liberty Dollar NGC AU58/CAC

image

Seated dollars are tough coins to find and I have been fortunate that lately some nice pieces have entered inventory. This coin has good meat and some lively color on its surfaces. It is also devoid of heavy hits and bagmarks. $4,950.00

14) 1895-O Morgan Dollar PCGS VF30

image

This is just a really gorgeous, mid-grade example of a better date Morgan dollar. $475.00
