Salada Coins

Hi guys I wanted to see if we had any Salada coin people on this board. I am working on the 63 Salada coins baseball and football sets.

They were neat when I had them, but I only collected them to the point of getting the Mathews coins for the registry set. I think I had the 63 in a 9. I also had the 62 issue...which had the 62 Salada coin and then there was a 62 Sherriff coin that looked pretty close to being the same. I think the Sherriff coin was more difficult for me to obtain.

Very cool items imo. Good luck with those sets!

I got a couple I was thinking of subbing....not cost efficient for me though, as I only have two, and they need to be on their own form.

I've got a set of the '63's, really like them a lot.

I just picked up most of a '62 set. I'm planning to list them on ebay ASAP.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

Wow must be cool to look at. If you want pm me a price. What shape are the coins in?
  • I like them a lot, my favorite is the 1962 set.

    Scott-
Is Brandt the tough one? I have a friend that had a set (it was sold in a recent Legendary auction) and he was showing me the variations, some of them being incredibly tough. One of the reasons I opted for the much easier '63 set.
