They were neat when I had them, but I only collected them to the point of getting the Mathews coins for the registry set. I think I had the 63 in a 9. I also had the 62 issue...which had the 62 Salada coin and then there was a 62 Sherriff coin that looked pretty close to being the same. I think the Sherriff coin was more difficult for me to obtain.
I just picked up most of a '62 set. I'm planning to list them on ebay ASAP.

Scott- Is Brandt the tough one? I have a friend that had a set (it was sold in a recent Legendary auction) and he was showing me the variations, some of them being incredibly tough. One of the reasons I opted for the much easier '63 set.
