Help... Question about results from 1st sub...Can I call PSA?

Ok, so I just got some results back from my first ever card submission. I have had packs grade before, a single sub of 4 Topps Football packs that included a crossover GAI 1976 Payton RC Pack that turned out great. This was my first raw card sub, with most of them being from my personal collection. So with all the recent "first sub" threads turning out as "first mistake/no loupe", I was expecting most to grade low because they were more sentimental, just get encased cards. The funny thing is the ones that I figured would grade poor graded well and the ones that I KNEW would grade well turned out poor (so I guess it did turn out like most "no loupe" threads 
). BTW I should mention and thank Neil/thedutymon for sending these in as it was a piggyback with a bunch of his cards. Thanks a TON Neil 
My mains issues with the sub have to do with autos. I purposely kept out all cards that I had signed my self because I have seen all the group PSA/DNA subs. I did however include cards that came auto'd from the "factory", Upper Deck SPX auto RCs, Upper Deck SP Authentic auto RCs, Topps Chrome auto RCs and Playoff Contenders auto RCs. All the SPX auto RCs came back graded as well as the SP Authentic auto RCs. I included two Playoff Contenders auto RCs, one graded and one came back N9: NOT GRADED NEEDS PSA/DNA. The Topps Chrome auto RC also came back N9. Why would the grade one of the Contenders and not the other? Also why would they not grade the Chrome? Can I call them and ask them to grade before sending them back?

I was part of a Piggyback sub. Should I not call PSA and ask them why they didn't grade the two N9 cards? Will I screw over the person that sent in the submission?
Don't know how asking a question would screw me over........ Have no idea personally why they didn't grade them. I do remember now when the sub was logged and I had to deal with Kristie (Recieve Hold Lady) it was in the Recieve Hold, that it was because that I had messed up the quantities on a couple lines and that there was one Auto card she said would have to be put in its own sub for $35 and then shipping for another $15+....would have been over $50 dollars, of course I didn't have authorization, so she told me it would proabably be N9'd. But then I don't know if this was your card or could have been somebody elses in the sub. Actually doesn't sound like it if they graded one and not the exact same...................

Neil if there is any way you could help and maybe call them, tell them that I can talk to them about the sub or something. The Warner is the main card in the Whole Sub that I was wanting to get graded and it seems ridiculous that they will not grade it. Anyways.... what a Pain!!!!

Just got home from work, can't access PSA from work anymore........................Just too Darn Busy.
Anyway, those shipped before I even realized they popped on Friday. But how about this, your going to get a voucher anyway, I am doing another group sub, how about whichever ones you want me to re-sub just go back with my next sub?
