I have a 1958 D with a lot of die gouges on her that look similar to your coin. Does your coin have any of these other markings ? Not sure if I would call these extra D's.
. while your images are pretty good, it is hard to say for certain from them. i don't see any listings for an rpm in that position.
look at this 1959-D 1¢ WRPM-002 (second image down). even thought it is a different position, it sort of has that look to it.
one way to find out for sure, submit it to wexler, wiles, ellis or a number of others well-versed in lincoln cent rpms. maybe it'll turn out to be a new one. odds are low but discoveries happen often enough to try. .
Hmmm, as a non-expert when it comes to RPMs and extra mint marks, I'd have to say that seems like a hopeful call to say that anomaly is an extra D. I do see something, just have no idea what it is.
