I went a long time ago and remembered a chart of baseballs signifying the batters box and showing Ted Williams batting average at various areas of the box. It really had an effect on me and earned the respect of Ted Williams as one of the best hitters ever.

I would like to know when the 2B changed from standing literally on second base to where he stands today. I called the HOF and whoever answered didn't know or care to find out. If you ask them in person I'd love to hear the answer.
