I still don't get it

Not trying to be a basher but what warrants a 64% premium over realized prices?

Yeah it's centering is dead-on but those corners are dull and the surface is lousy...is that a cigarette burn on Roger's arm?
Trying to wrap my head around the auction house cult-following.
My estimated value (not VCP) from previous auctions has the Maris pegged @ $430. I don't even put insane prices like this one in my realized price equation

    there are cards. there are cards in PSA holders. there are cards in PSA holders in Probstein auctions. the end.

  • I wouldn't buy that card just for the surface issues alone.

    Eye appeal is lacking and you can find a PSA 6 that looks better.

    And then there are people that buy the holder not the card.

    The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the PSA 10 collector he didn't exist.
