What are the grades of these 1909-SVDB Lincoln's? ***grades posted in first one***

No cheating...please. For those who know and still feel compelled to say something, just say "I know"
I would like to know what everyone grades these two Lincoln's?
Or which one is graded higher. One sold for $44k in 2012.
Just an exercise in grading skills
Okay....here are the grades.
The first one is MS66+RD Sold in 11/29/2012 $44,063.00 Heritage
The Second one is MS67RD Population 9 and PCGS price guide is $100K
There you have it. I did this because I saw the MS66+ on Facebook and thought it was dynamite and stunning example.
Frankly I was surprised that this one was not graded MS67. It may be a slightly weaker strike but not by that much....hence the 66+
maybe instead of a MS67 as it takes that coin from a $44K coin and doubles the price
So, that's my story and take on it.....thanks for your input gang!

The color on the first one is killer.
Very equal but the second one might have a slightly better strike, first one is a little weaker on the shoulder and on the rev than the second one. I'd grade the second one higher but I like the first one better.
65 RD
63 RB
.......jmo.......both pretty coins.

<< <i>I'll WAG - 66+RD and 66RD. First one is killer due to the original skin. >>
I agree with this.

Edited to add: My reasoning- though the difference is phenomenally minute, the top one has an ever-so-slight change in luster color, hence why I'd give the bottom one the 67, and the top one a 66. As the top one has nice eye appeal, I'd move it up to 66+

i like. its nice to see nice coin like that
Nevertheless
Based on something resembling an internally consistent logic system that may have no relationship with reality
I consistently embarrass myself on business strike Lincs, or so my friends used to tell me when I would buy their rejects at auctions and ask why they weren't in on a pretty likely upgrade.
#1 - 66+RD
#2 - 67RD
and if they are, those are two extremely expensive cents, clearly worthy of a time machine to cherrypick through some rolls.

<< <i>67RD's used to be worth about $100K. Have they come down that much? >>
No

But this is a classic example of a condition rarity that I would not pay a lot of money for. I've been perfectly happy with the ones I've owned over the years, ranging in grade from 63 to 65, all RB.

<< <i>I would have never guessed 67RD on the second coin. I like the 66+ coin better - 66 thousand time$ better.
Agreed, and there's some chatter on the upper reverse and on the N of the 67 that surprises me for it to be in that holder.

<< <i>Same coin different lighting?
Doubt it -- different mintmark positions. The top coin is a Die 3, the bottom is a Die 4.
