Re-submitting for review

Hi, I've never re-submitted a card to PSA, but this months special is $8 a card under $250. I'm thinking about finding my best 8's and sending them to be reviewed. Is there a decent success rate re-submitting cards? If so, do I check "review" and put down a minimum grade of 8.5 or 9?
Thanks for the help and comments, Larry

I think mg is only for x-overs from other tpg'ers. When you sub a PSA card for review, it either goes up or remains the same. They don't lower the grade. My success rate is dismal on reviews. If you are daring, I think you might do better cracking 'em and subbing them raw. Of course, you run the risk of getting a lower grade than you had, or the dreaded EOT. No guarantees. B4 proceeding, look really close at your cards. Use a loupe and a black lite. If centering and corners aren't tip-top, you are wasting your $. You might be anyway. GL!!

I was out of the collecting game for many years. My collection was purchased or submitted long before PSA started the .5 grading. I found 15 "8's" that look much better than the rest.
