Eddie Guererro (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy comes down all alone for a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Eddie comes out, staring at the fact that, when Jeff poured water on himself, his hair dye ran all over his shirt, making it appear he vomited on himself. Or maybe that's just me noticing.
Rolling snapmare by Eddie, but Jeff applies a headscissors. Eddie takes Jeff down, but Jeff hits a hiptoss, then another. Punches by Eddie. Jeff hits a neckbreaker 1-2-shoulder up.
Jeff takes Eddie out of the ring with a headscissors takedown. Eddie comes back in and tries to sneak up on Jeff. He hits Jeff with a low dropkick, then stomps away. Chops by Eddie, then an uppercut. Running knee by Eddie. Back suplex by Eddie, who misses the senton slingshot. Clutch pin by Jeff 1-2-shoulder up.
Vertical suplex by Eddie, who goes up top. Jeff attacks and goes up with him, Superplexing him down. Jeff ducks a clothesline and hits a jawbreaker. Flying forearm by Jeff. Jeff starts kicking away at Eddie, then hits the double legdrop. Jeff goes up top, but Eddie 'buckles him. Guerrero goes up top, but Jeff tosses him down. Eddie rolls away from a Swanton, but Jeff then hits both Eddie and the ref with a Whisper in the Wind. He pins, but the ref is still down.
Jeff checks on the ref, allowing Eddie to regain himself. He beats Jeff down and gets his Title belt. Jeff baseball slides him back and then leaps, but Eddie gets the belt up, smashing it into Jeff's face. Eddie tosses Jeff in and hits the Frog Splash 1-2-3!
Winner: Eddie Guererro
We get a video package of Ric Flair's appology to Austin for making the wrong call in the #1 Contender's Match at Backlash, then Austin's tirade, then Flair's creation of the Austin/Bradshaw vs. nWo match, only for Bradshaw to be taken out and Big Show inserted as Austin's partner, only for Big Show to reveal himself as nWo.
We come back, to see that Austin has arrived in the building. He asks where the "no good, lying son of a b!tch" is, and the crew thinks he's talking about Vince. Austin says that he's talking about Flair. They say that Flair is here, so Austin gives him the message that Stone Cold wants to see him in the ring right now.
The glass breaks, and Stone Cold marches to the ring. Austin grabs a beer before the mic, so you know he's "in a complex mood" according to JR. Austin comes right out and says he's not in a good mood. He's really pissed off.
He's got a story, not about a man named Jed, but about a bald-headed sumb!tch named Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold had a match at Backlash with Undertaker, with one of the greatest of all time as the referee. In that match, Stone Cold gets his foot on the ropes, yet 16-time World Champ Ric Flair counts to three.
Then Flair comes out and appologizes, says he made a mistake. To make it up, he makes a tag match against the nWo. Bradshaw gets jumped, so Ric Flair names Big Show as Austin's partner. It just so turns out, Big Show chokeslams Austin into the mat. So what he wants, is for Flair to come down and say "Stone Cold Steve Austin, tonight you got a match against that seven foot, sorry piece of trash Big Show."
Flair's fanfare plays, and the Raw Owner makes his way onto the stage. Flair starts to speak, but Austin stops him and demands that Flair come into the ring and talk to Stone Cold eye-to-eye. Flair disregards Austin's statement and continues from the stage.
Flair is on the stage because he doesn't want anything to happen that would cause Flair to have to suspend Austin. Secondly, Flair doesn't appreciate Austin's insinuation that Flair had something to do with Big Show turning on Austin. Stone Cold gives Flair the finger.
There's something wrong with this whole thing, says Flair. Once again, he's appologizing to Austin. Austin says he can appologize all he wants, but he still hasn't made the Austin/Big Show match. Flair says he appologizes for choosing Big Show, but he wasn't going to force Austin to face the nWo alone after Bradshaw went down. Flair says he can look Austin in the eye, every fan here, and every WWF fan worldwide and say that Austin is the man. But that means that everyone wants a shot at Austin, including the Big Show. They all want to be where Austin is.
Now, it sounds great to have Austin face the Big Show tonight. But it can't happen. Austin gets the fans' approval for the match, but Flair says he anticipated Austin being an ass-kicking beer-drinking asshole tonight. So he sent Big Show on a promotional tour of India, because he didn't want Austin doing something that would get him in trouble. But to make it up to Austin, Flair is putting Austin and Bradshaw in the match that should have gone down last week, against the nWo.
Austin asks what Flair is going to do to keep the same thing from happening this week that happened last. Flair says he is going to assign a special referee who will keep order and justice: Ric Flair. Flair says that Austin may be the man, but if he lays his hands on Flair, there will be hell to pay. Austin says that if Flair screws him, he'll lay both hands and feet on him and open up the biggest can of whoop-ass Buffalo has ever seen. And that's the bottom line.
Rob Van Dam vs. Booker T
In the back, Booker T works out, as Goldust comes up to him. Booker yells at him, saying that they aren't teaming up tonight. Goldust says he feels like Macauly Culkin, abandoned in Home Alone. But if Booker is going to fight alone, he should wear Goldust's wig. He puts it on, and Booker looks in the mirror. "Tell me I don't look like that!" Goldust says that Booker looks like the lovechild on Denzel and Lil Kim, to which Booker counters that Goldust looks like the lesbian child of Big Bird and Spider Man.
In the arena, RVD comes out, followed by Booker T, who, sadly, is not wearing Goldust's wig.
Booker stomps on RVD in the corner, clubbing away and stomping him down. Chops by Booker, then an RVD spinning heel kick. Another spinning heel kick by RVD 1-2-shoulder up.
RVD looks for a hurricanrana, but Booker blocks and powerbombs him down. On the outside, Booker rams RVD into the stairs. Back inside, Booker hits a reverse thrust kick 1-2-shoulder up.
Sleeper applied by Booker, then clubs to the back. RVD hits a springboard crossbody 1-2-shoulder up. Another spinning heel kick by RVD, followed with Rolling Thunder 1-2-kickout.
Goldust begins walking to the ring, as RVD punches away on Booker. Booker blocks a monkey flip and pins with the ropes for a two count. RVD floats over Booker. Booker ducks a clothesline, causing him to stumble into a Goldust forearm. RVD baseball slides Goldust away and hits the Five Star on Booker 1-2-3!
Winner: Rob Van Dam
Booker looks at the ramp in anger, as Goldust looks back, noticeably distraught over his screw-up.
In the back, Terri asks Bradshaw about his current condition and if he knows who put him out of action last week. Bradshaw says his condition is extremely unstable and extremely pissed off. He knows who hit him: Big Show. When Big Show gets back from India, Bradshaw is going to jump him whichever way he can and leave him laying face-down on the concrete like Show did to him. But tonight, Bradshaw and Austin are going to give Buffalo an early 4th of July when they light up the nWo. It doesn't matter which side Flair is on, as long as he doesn't get in his way.
In the back, Molly asks Jazz if she's gone crazy, challenging BuhBuh Dudley for the Hardcore Title. She says that Jazz is tough, but not as tough as BuhBuh. Jazz gets up and stares at Molly before walking off.
In the back, Coach shows Shawn Stasiak the footage of his less-than-minute long match against Regal last week. Tonight, Stasiak goes one-on-one with Brock Lesnar. But why? Stasiak says that his world doesn't rotate on the same axis as Earth. Sure, his orbits are a little out of whack, and sure, Lesnar has a huge tattoo on his back, but that pales in comparision to the power of Planet Stasiak.
Brock Lesnar vs. Shawn Stasiak
As Lesnar is talking to Heyman, Stasiak rushes the ring and manages to take him down and start punching away. Just when it looks like Stasiak has an advantage, Lesnar powerbombs him down.
On the outside, Lesnar rams Stasiak into the ringpost repeatedly. In the ring, Lesnar thrusts his shoulder into Stasiak, then hits an overhead belly-belly. Gutwrench suplex by Lesnar, then the fireman's carry into flapjack. Running powerbomb by Lesnar, causing the ref to call for the bell.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
In the back, Flair is on the phone, telling someone that he will prove to everyone that he is telling the truth. Debra comes in. Flair says that he needs Debra to help convince Austin he is telling the truth. He needs her to take that message back to Austin. She says that it's odd, because when Austin found out Flair wanted to see her, he gave her a message to give Flair as well. She slaps him and tells him, "DTA: Don't Trust Anybody" and walks off.
Special Referee: Ric Flair
Steve Austin & Bradshaw vs. X-Pac & Scott Hall
In the back, Undertaker comes up on Sgt. Slaughter and talks to him about Hogan. They had a couple battles, a couple wars, yet through it all, they've become pretty good friends. Taker tells Slaughter to go tell his good friend Hogan that Deadman Inc. is in the building, and he's got a message for Hogan later tonight.
In the arena, Ric Flair comes down to referee the first-hour Main Event. We go black and white as Hall and X-Pac come down. Bradshaw and Austin come down.
Bradshaw and X-Pac start, with Bradshaw booting him down and stomping away. Chops by Bradshaw, then hard clubs to the back. Big Boot by Bradshaw, who knocks Hall off the apron. Clothesline to X-Pac. Pac comes back with a spinning heel kick. Tag to Hall.
Chops by Hall, then some by Bradshaw. Shoulder block by Bradshaw and an elbow drop for a one count. Tag to Austin, who appears to want a Test of Strength.
Austin instead kicks Hall in the gut and wrenches his arm. Austin smashes Hall into the turnbuckle and stomps a mudhole in him, then tosses X-Pac form the ring. Knockdown punch to Hall 1-kickout. Tag to Bradshaw.
Suplex by Bradshaw 1-2-kickout. Running clothesline by Bradshaw, then a swinging neckbreaker 1-2-shoulder up. Tag to Austin. Hall knees Austin back and tags in X-Pac.
Austin whips Pac with increasing velocity into the turnbuckles. He chops Pac down and chokes him on the ropes. Knees by Austin. Tag to Bradshaw.
Bradshaw 'buckles X-Pac and goes up, but Pac pushes him away and leaps. Bradshaw catches him and hits a Fallaway Slam. He grabs Pac for a powerbomb, but Hall runs in and breaks it up. Tag to Hall.
Hall picks up Bradshaw and hits his own Fallaway Slam 1-2-shoulder up. Tag back to X-Pac, who starts kicking away on Bradshaw's left knee. He wrenches the knee back, then starts chopping away. Bradshaw blocks a spinning heel kick and powerbombs X-Pac down, but then falls under his hurt knee. Tag to Austin.
Austin takes on both nWo members, back body dropping X-Pac and hitting Scott Hall with the Lou Thesz press and the Austin Elbow. Pac hits Austin with aspinning heel kick, but Austin then spinebusters him down. Spinebuster to hall as well. He looks for the Stunner on Pac, but gets pushed away, only to clothesline both nWo members down.
Bradshaw boots Hall out of the ring, while Austin hits the Stunner on X-Pac. He pins and Flair counts 1-2-Hall puts X-Pac's foot on the bottom rope, but Flair keeps counting-3!
Winner(s): Steve Austin and Bradshaw
In the back, X-Pac and Hall confront Flair about Pac's foot on the rope. Hall says that Flair's lucky he's not a full-time wrestler, or else the nWo would take him out. Flair tells Hall to watch what he wishes for.
In the arena, "Rollin" hits and The Undertaker rides out to the ring. There's an old expression that says, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." That works well for Hogan. He remembers Hogan's first Title run, how children in red and yellow would get up on their chairs to get a glimpse of their hero. And what would happen when the Undertaker came to the ring? All the smiles and laughter were replaced by frowns and tears. The children would get off their chairs and hide behind their fathers.
What Hogan has to realize is that Undertaker isn't like everyone else. He's not awe-struck by Hogan's presence, and he's not impressed with his status. Why? Because he's beaten Hogan. Taker is better than Hogan is now, and better than he was in his prime. Hogan has always known this, and that's why he ran from the WWF the first time. Hogan knew that, if he stayed, Taker would hurt him. That's why Hogan ran, that's why Hogan wanted a rematch against Triple H, and that's why he'll probably lose to Jericho this week.
It's all because Undertaker can do more than take the Title from Hogan. He can take Hogan's greatness and his icon, and leave it a bloody mess. When you come face-to-face with the Undertaker, the party is over. Taker wants Hogan to beat Jericho. That's why he let Hogan win at Backlash. It's all so he can see the look on these people's faces when he destroys Hogan's icon. And the scary thing is: there's not a damn thing Hogan can do about it.
Hendrix wails and the red and yellow flashees, as Hogan marches to the ring. Taker tells Hogan that he knows what he wants to say. Taker asks himself what he's going to do when Hulkamania runs wild on him, and answers by saying that he will beat Hogan like the b!tch he is. Hogan nails Taker in the face, staggering Taker and causing him to leave the ring.
Earlier tonight, BuhBuh told Coach that Jazz is all guts and no brains. She may be the Women's Champ, but she's got a long way to go before she can be called Hardcore. What do Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, Mae Young, and almost all the other women in the WWF have in common? They've all tasted BuhBuh's wood. He doesn't want this match, but if Jazz wants wood, he'll give it to her hardcore.
Hardcore Championship
BuhBuh Ray Dudley vs. Jazz
Jazz kicks at BuhBuh. BuhBuh 'buckles her, only for her to jump on his back. He whiplashes her to the mat. Jazz attempts an armwrench, but BuhBuh doesn't feel it. Instead, he starts dancing with Jazz. She goes for a clothesline, buth merely bounces off him.
Jazz regains herself and asks for a Test of Strength. BuhBuh turns it into a dance, only for Jazz to kick him square in the nuts. Jazz gets a lid and smacks BuhBuh in the head with it. She dropkicks the lid into BuhBuh and hits a leg drop, then another 1-2-kickout.
Jazz goes for a kick, but BuhBuh grabs her and kisses her ass. She slaps him, so he slams her down. BuhBuh gets a can and puts it over Jazz's upperbody. BuhBuh punches and elbows away on the can, knocking Jazz out. He tells himself to get the tables, and does so.
As he sets up the table, Jazz escapes from the can. BuhBuh grabs her for a powerbomb, when Stevie Ricahrds runs in. BuhBuh drops Jazz and goes for Stevie. Jazz picks up what appears to be a pizza tray and nails BuhBuh with it. Stevie gets a guitar and smashes BuhBuh in the head with it and pins 1-2-3!
Stevie grabs his Title, and he and Jazz run arm-in-arm to the back! Big Stevie Cool is Champ once more!
As we come back, Stevie and Jazz run out the back. They get into a car and drive off.
In the arena, a clip from Hogan's classic cartoon plays, and we see that William Regal has surrounded himself with Hogan relics. He wonders why people would worship a man who prances around "like a tart" in feather boas. He mocks the Hulkamaniacs, saying he can't understand why people can't respect and follow a great man like himself. They don't worship a man like Regal, who conducts himself with dignity, speaks the Queen's English, and can say a sentence without using the word 'brother.' That's why tonight, Regal will put an end to Hulkamania. What are you going to see, when the Power of the Punch runs wild on thee?
In the back, Flair comes up on Bradshaw and Austin, asking if he made things right tonight. Austin says that Flair still hasn't proven himself. Flair says that next week, we'll see the whole nWo, Scott Hall, X-Pac and the Big Show against Bradshaw, Steve Austin, and the Nature Boy.
European Championship
Goldust vs. Spike Dudley
Goldust throws his wig at Spike, but Spike picks it up and puts it on. Goldust clotheslines Spike down. Inside, Goldust again hits a clothesline, then smashes Spike into the turnbuckles. Goldust wraps Spike's legs in the turnbcukle and goes for the Shattered Dreams, but stops himself and keeps punches. As Nick Patrick helps Spike out of the ropes, Booker runs in and hits Goldust with a jumping calf kick. Spike grabs Goldust and hits the Acid Drop 1-2-3!
Winner: Spike Dudley
Hulk Hogan vs. William Regal
Regal tells Hogan that they should act like gentlemen and have a spot of tea before the match, as we see that Regal has a tea set ready. He pours himself and Hogan cups of tea. Regal drinks, as does Hogan, but then Hogan spits it into Regal's face! He nails Regal with the tea plate and then with the table itself!
Hogan smashes Regal into the announce table and then into the ringpost. Knees by Hogan into the barrier. Finally in the ring, Hogan hits Regal with knockdown punches, when the Undertaker jumps him from behind. Taker punches away on Hogan, then clotheslines him in the corner.
Taker pulls Hogan's belt off and puts the buckle over his knuckles, and uses it to punch into Hogan. He busts Hogan open and then starts laying into him with the strap. Stomps by Taker and more attacks with the starp. Taker wraps the strap around Hogan's neck and chokes him with it. With Hogan sporting the crimson mask, Taker chokeslams him down into the mat.
Hope that works for ya! LOL
