Labels for 2*2 holders...are there any templates?

Many dealers have these neatly made 2*2 holders with very neat labels. I've been trying to find a template for these labels that I can use but I can't figure it out. They are always either too small or too large. Can anyone shed some advice on how to do this? The fancy ones, of course, are the double-sided labels but I can NEVER line the things up correctly.

Thanks!

Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

You mean 2x2 pocket flips not the cardboard holders, correct? I have not found a supplier for the card/paper stock.

I designed mine in Excel. I had to play with the cell sizes until I got them to be right (1 7/8") square so they slide in without wrinkling. Start by setting the row heights and column widths to the same size: 17 pixels x 17 pixels. Then make a box outline around 8 x 8 cells and adjust the pixel width + height to the overall size of 1 7/8" square. You may have to print a couple of pages to confirm that your printer gets the same size. Once you have the outline done it becomes a simple matter of merging cells and setting font sizes, borders, and colors. Took me less than an hour.

Yeah those are the ones. Maybe that's my problem...I've only tried it in Word so far.

I'll let you know if it works image

    Thanks!

There's a guy here in Atlanta that sells perforated sheets of inserts. The paper isn't as thick as what comes packaged with the flips though ... I've often wondered if he makes them himself or not. Anyway you gotta use a spreadsheet for that kind of thing. Word isn't designed well for cells or tables. Have fun! image

I found my old template. Had to reset the pixels for my new printer.

On my printer the pixels are set at 20 x 20. I also use the bold box outline.

I tried to upload the file but this site will not upload a .xls file.

Let us know how you do.

Just scroll down and on the right you will see 2" x 2" 12 per sheet and the Avery Template Numbers ( Compatible products: 22806, 22816 ) That will work for stickers but like someone earlier said, 1 7/8" would be better if you are going to print on card stock and then cut them out and slide them in.

As far as attaching files here I can't attach anything just like I can't preview a message prior to posting with any of my browsers so I am thinking it has something to do with this site and not my computer.

I think there's a way to upload Xls files to Google and share for free.
