Really ebay sellers??

Had two people not pay for their items (both over 10 feedback and the items were over $100 each) and when I looked at their feedbacks I saw seller leave positive feedback for them. Do sellers realize that even if you leave a negative comment the feedback still counts as positive.

I wish ebay would change it back so you could block negative bidders again.... (the people who used to rack up negatives and their total rating turned negative). I'm not sure how a seller can put any kind of warning out there now other than the "negative positive". I'm all ears if there are other options? (Note I don't block low feedback bidders as I have had some great ones over the years, everyone starts somewhere.)
<< <i>definitely agree with you on the negs for sellers especially if they have to open a npb case and the buyer doesn't pay then the seller should be able neg them. >>
You know what I don't know is how many NPB can be filed against you before you are kicked off now? Is there a limit anymore? I had one a few weeks ago that had to have had dozens filed against him. He had over 100 "negative positives"....

They probably do realize, but they are trying to warn other sellers. I don't believe it's allowed though.

I worded that poorly. Meant to say specifically since we cannot leave negatives, their rating overall can never turn negative. I only blocked the negative bidders...and 0 and above I allowed (and still do).

Actually reading that link more....has anyone tried this one "Buyers with Unpaid Item strikes"? Now that may be helpful if the buyer has been on an unpaid spree and happens onto your listings later. Goes back to my question earlier though, how long until eBay kicks you off now with a lot of NPBs? Do they do that anymore?
<< <i>$275 BIN and the buyer runs off. So wrong. I echo the frustration as it wastes the time to file, etc. >>
To make things worse...he hit the BIN (it was a Darvish rookie auto that he purchased while his near perfect game was happening a few weeks ago)....and then listed the item in auction format...and when his auction yielded less than what he bought it from me, he backed out. He ran the auction with my scans...knowing he never had the actual card in hand. I reported it to eBay while it was happening and they did nothing to halt the auction.

This scenario hasn't quite happened to me yet. I have had plenty go make a big profit right away....but not before I finished selling it to them and got paid, LOL. Amazing.

That's brutal. I generally support the way Ebay runs their business but that is bordering on fraud, and I would think Ebay would close the buyers account.

That's how I feel. If he had paid for the card, I would have let it slide that he had lifted my scans and was running the auction. But the fact that he didn't rightfully own the card, I thought eBay would do intervene.
