Yes he was, nice Gold set, also had some nice Conder tokens . Bought some Guitar coins, then some guitars and then he went to a forum founded when they closed the OPEN Forum. Don't know where he went from there.

Perhaps, but I'm pretty certain that he collected the gold coins in proof. In fact, he introduced me to the Darkside, after I had sold him a 1902 proof half sovereign PCGS PR62,(he later upgraded it to PR63) from a mini type set that I had assembled at the time from Spink . All the others were PR64, and the 1893 ended up in Lordmarcovan's hands for an amusingly low amount, compared with today's prices. It was yet another set (with a 1911 and a 1937 in PR64), for which I have seller's remorse.
