DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN TAKE MY MICROSCOPE FOR REPAIR(ELECTRICAL-LIGHT).LOS ANGELES-SAN GABRIEL VALLEY.

SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT I SHOULD TAKE THE SCOPE TO A TV REPAIRMAN. AFTER ABOUT 20 CALLS TO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIR PEOPLE AND GETTING THE RUN AROUND, I FOUND TV GUY WHO SAID HE'D LOOK AT IT.
AFTER 4 HOURS OF TROUBLESHOOTING, HE FOUND THAT THE TRANSFORMER THAT FED ELECTRICITY TO THAT SPECIFIC LIGHT WAS BAD.
I WOULDN'T OF FOUND THAT IN A MILLION YEARS.
WHOM EVER SUGG. TO FIND A TV REPAIRMAN, I OWE YOU ONE!!!!!!!BIG TIME!!!!!!

you should be able to replace the bulbs in the thing your self!!

THAT'S MY PROBLEM. THE BULB AND FUSE WORK FINE. I THINK THE SWITCH THAT IS INTERNAL TO THE SCOPE ITSELF IS BAD.

Um...this may sound crazy but....why do you not just change the switch?

Can't be but two to 4 wires maybe...

Or you could send it to me and when I am done with it, I'll send it back...promise.

Hey, If you take your time you can repair/replace the switch yourself.
I took mine apart and repaired the switch and it took about 2 hours and mine is a 45 year old binocular dinosaur.
