Made a boo boo. USPS package. Will this be okay???

Hello everyone,
I usually print all of my postage labels through paypal. I had to send like 5 cards in 1 package. It weighed all together about 1 pound 4 ounces. I dropped it in the post bin at the post office. I see no tracking status when I click the link. I realized that you have to take packages of more than 13 oz to the clerk......I didn't. I had a brain lapse.
Will this get sent back to me? Will they just go ahead and send it forward? I did pay the correct amount of money and used the proper service.
