1985 Topps Wax Variances

I am looking around on eBay at prices for 1985 Topps wax boxes and see about 3 different packaging.
There is the standard box with everything marked as normal.
Then a wax box stored in 1981 boxes
Wax packs in 1982 boxes.
And then, apparently, a more scarce variant are wax packs with no Year printed on the pack.
Are all of these legitimate packaging?

I have also seen packs that are all white with no printing at all on them. The were PSA graded. They were selling for around $15 to $20 each. Not sure about a raw price.

I know the 1985 OPC packs have the white strip (with 1985 printed in it) so perhaps Topps ran out of wrappers and grabbed a batch meant for OPC? Not sure.
I dont know anything about the boxes. Macrosb(sp?) thread. If you search "unopened"
you will find it.
