Meeting a famous athlete can be one of the most disappointing experiences of one's life. Many of them can be very nice, but disconcerting encounters with complete jerks have a greater tendency to resonate. I would imagine that these situations can be just as uncomfortable for the athletes--I remember a particularly scary crowd after a minor league baseball game waiting on Michael Jordan to walk (with police escort) three feet from the locker room door to the team bus--but I'm to where I'd rather not risk shattering any illusions by meeting an athlete that I admire.
I mean if he saw you set up as a dealers table i mean whats he supposed to think?
It shouldn't matter what he thinks. Hes being paid (and very nicely too) to sign and treat paying customers with respect such as he commands respect I'm sure.
