Best card(s) you've ever pulled from a group break?

There's just something about yanking a gem from one of these rips that I find inherently cool. Has a slightly different feel to it, in my opinion. My most notable pulls were Montana and Henderson RCs from the same break last fall. Neither was framed up, but frankly I didn't give a crap. Simply experiencing the exhilaration of pulling the cards I was looking for (from consecutive packs, mind you) was absolutely priceless. Not only that, but it confirmed what I had been reading all along -- BBCE was undoubtedly the preeminent source of everything unopened.
The breaks predate my time here, hence I'm sure I've missed a lot of the home runs that were hit. What's your story? And if you've got scans to share, I for one would love to see them.

I know Fergie's pulls some big hits. When I first came on the board, there were many more rippers than openly unopened guys on here. But since we've come out in larger numbers, everything is good now.

88 fleer BK pack, still unopened with a Jordan Sticker on back.
I bought a box of '85 donruss baseball as an add on to a rip as well. The first 28 packs were awful and then I got 1 of everything you could ask for from that box with a couplle doubles by the end. Very fun to see the box pan out after being certain it was a complete flop.

"Molon Labe"
<< <i>I was very young.....
OK Moses!
1 '84 Marino rookie
1-'93 Jeter SP rookie
both seemingly perfect--off to PSA--we'll see.....
Stay unopened my friends.....
1959 Topps Football need help finishing
1 - Staubach Rookie !!! - Too MC to grade
1 - Payton Rookie!! - PSA 9
1 - Montana Rookie - PSA 8
2 - Marino Rookies - Both PSA 9s
3 - Young Rookies - 2 PSA 7s and one OC
By far my favorite pull was from a pack I didn't get from a CU group break. It was the 1971 Pete Rose that came from a rack pack I broke. It came back recently as an 8.

i've been wondering who got a Jeter! Congrats!
<< <i>I don't rip very many packs I purchase in these group breaks. I did pull a Marino RC from an '84 Topps cello which graded a 9. A few highlights of packs I didn't open are a '76 cello with Tom Seaver on the front, a '76 cello with Babe Ruth ATAS on the front and a '73 Topps wax pack (came from Felicia) with Pete Rose on the front and Clemente on the back.

i love that video - watch it often - you should get a royalty on that youtube vid! congrats on the 8!
81 Cello yielded a Valenzuela rising stars
82 cello pulled a Ripken
81 cello pulled a Henderson
Actually broke them on the day George Scott passed and pulled his card in an 80 pack and a 77 pack
Pulled a Munson from the 78 OPC pack - which was sweet even though rough cut and OC - Schmidt and Hernandez too in that back. And a nice looking vida blue.
Some other minors but those were the biggies. Packs from last year - The 76 and 77 topps bb were clean but not great centering. A lot of fun though. Looking forward to break #4 for 2013!
72 Staubach (9 OC)
81 Montana
86 Rice
The best was what I didn't open:
72 Topps Series 2 pack with Johnny Unitas on front
72 Topps Series 2 pack with O.J Simpson on front
on top of that I opened these two w/o realizing it:
72 Topps Series 2 pack Jurgensen on Back
72 Topps Series 2 pack Larry Csonka on front

I ended up selling for $200+, not bad for what was a $3 pack at the time.

Have pulled a 78 Ryan and Murray as well. Murray ended up being a 7, didn't grade the Ryan.
