P.S. Anyone have any details of the live bidding on this coin? It was at $18k after internet bidding. I assume at least two people wanted it REAL bad. Thanks for any input.

Viewed the coin.

Obverse without the larger "spot" might go PR66RD. Reverse was a solid PR66RD.

Coin opened at 18K and jumped to a book bid of 30K. From that point it worked it's way up to $42,500 hammer.

The support for the series seems to be gaining momentum again. The '09 in the recent LM auction brought strong money relative to guide as well.
