SCP on back cover of June SMR

Kind of interesting that the back cover of the June SMR which is a full page ad for Reggie Jacksons 1977 3 HR jersey from his "personal collection" in the SCP Auction has already been pulled from the Auction.
It definitely isn't the jersey he wore regardless of what Reggie says. From the ad itself you can see the pinstripes don't line up with the NY logo in the picture they show of him hitting a HR. I don't know if Reggie was trying to pull a fast one or not, and I get that his word about the jersey is worth a lot from a provenance perspective, but what the heck was SCP thinking? They didn't even try to photo match it?
