Another for the Blocked Bidder list?

Sold three cards to gamer3374bc. Zero feedback high bidder, new account. Didn't pay.

Waited a week. Sent email asking if he wanted the cards or if there was a problem. No response.

Cancelled transaction, waited the week ebay requires, still no response.

Ebay cancelled the auction and returned my fees and I have offered the cards to the next highest bidders.

Seems a bit unusual, but not TOO irritating. I would think a newbee would at least respond to one of the messages.

Any thoughts?

  • Not sure why this surprises you. I average 5 non payers per week. File the claim, get your fees back, relist and move on.

It is the first time this happened to me. Seems like a complete waste of time, buyers like this should get a life.

  • Yep alot of non-paying bidders lately. Ebay has created this monster within.

Shoot, it has happened to me with bidders with 5,000+ feedbacks. That is the atmosphere that Ebay harbors lately. Everything falls upon the seller. The buyer is responsible for nothing.

I guess I should consider myself lucky!

    Thanks for the responses guys.

Call me cynical but the first thought that comes to mind is the seller is probably trying to cover himself.
  • How long do you guys give someone to pay for an item before you report it?
